Through the Riverside Good Neighbor Project, we’re inviting you to step up and help beautify Riverside! Do you know a neighbor who could use a helping hand? Whether it’s a yard cleanup, junk removal, landscaping, or a fresh coat of paint—this is your chance to make a meaningful difference in our community.

This initiative is all about neighbors coming together to lend a hand with projects that improve our surroundings and spread the spirit of goodwill and connection. By participating, you’re not only enhancing your neighborhood but also strengthening the bonds that make Riverside a great place to call home.

And the best part? Your efforts could be rewarded! With prizes for each zip code and a grand prize for the top project, this is our way of saying thank you for your dedication to helping others. Join us to strengthen our community, one project at a time!

Here's how you can get involved...

Identify a Neighbor in Need

Look around your neighborhood for a neighbor who could benefit from a helping hand with outdoor improvements like yard cleanups, junk removal, landscaping, or other exterior upgrades.

Collaborate and Improve

Work together with your neighbor and other nearby residents to complete the project. This is your chance to spread goodwill and beautify Riverside, one property at a time.

Submit Your Project

Complete the form below between February 1 and March 31, 2025. Provide your name, email, the subject property address, and your address. Don’t forget to check the box for release of liability and photo permission.

During this time, you can nominate a neighbor who could use a helping hand with outdoor improvement projects like yard cleanups, junk removal, or landscaping. The Riverside Good Neighbor Project is exclusively open to residents within the zip codes 92501, 92503, 92504, 92505, 92506, 92507, and 92508. If your nominated project is located within one of these zip codes, you’re eligible to participate in this rewarding effort to make a positive impact in Riverside.

The Riverside Good Neighbor Rewards

$1,000 Will Be Awarded for Each Zip Code Winner

One winner will be selected from each of Riverside’s seven participating zip codes (92501, 92503, 92504, 92505, 92506, 92507, 92508).

$3,000 Grand Prize

An additional $3,000 will be awarded to the overall best project selected from all submissions.

Total Giveaway: $10,000
